Russell joined Vantage in June 2013 and is responsible for acquisitions underwriting, entitlements, project management, and asset management.
Russell previously served as the Design Director at the Shanghai office of MADA s.p.a.m., an architectural design services firm with offices in China and Los Angeles. During his time at MADA, he led a team of 15-20 designers in the flagship Shanghai office, and directly designed 23 large commercial and mixed use projects throughout China, many of which were high-profile projects for notable Chinese developers, including office parks for China Vanke Co., resort-community planning for the Zendai Group, and the Beijing corporate headquarters for the Luneng Group.
Russell holds a Master of Real Estate Development from USC, a Master of Architecture from Harvard University, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
